Prayer is a very important and vital belief of many people because it is how we communicate with God and how He communicates with us. Addressing God, thanking Him, asking Him, and closing it in the Name of Jesus Christ are the four simple steps of prayer. We first start our prayer by saying Father in Heaven or Heavenly Father or any way as long as we are addressing to God because it is to Him we are praying. We tell our Father how we appreciate all the blessings He has given us, such as our family and friends, the food we eat, etc., we do this after opening the prayer and addressing Him. We can ask Him for help after thanking our Father in Heaven, we can ask him to bless us with the things we need, such as knowledge, comfort, guidance, peace, health, etc.. Then, we close the prayer by saying, In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen, we do this because Jesus is our Savior, our mediator between death (physical and spiritual) and eternal life. Only the person saying the prayer speaks when praying with a group of people, also, the leader should say the prayer in the plural form such as we thank thee, and we ask thee. When in a group prayer, everybody in the group should say amen at the end of the prayer to show that each one of them agrees or accepts what they had prayed for. We also believe it is important that we pray with sincerity, meaning we think about what we are saying instead of vain repetition. God listens to us when we pray sincerely. You can also ask for prayer request from other groups or from the members of your own group aside from praying all by yourself and joining group prayers, this is usually done when a family member is sick. I just had a four day weekend with my family in our hometown and I really had a great time with them especially that it has been more than a year already since my last visit with my parents. I am really happy that this weekend was very long because I finally got the time to go back home, relax, and enjoy the moments with my loved ones. Even if this weekend is about to end, I do not feel sad or empty because my heart is overjoyed with so many beautiful memories we made over the weekend and I am really going to treasure this very rare moments forever. I still have two hours here in the terminal and the digital signage here is keeping me entertained with some random facts, which also reminds me of my father. It really reminded me of my childhood days when my dad would usually tell us some fun facts before going to bed and every night we would always look forward for that time when our dad would tuck us in at night and leave us with something to ponder on.
As I took a glimpse of it
It was a lovely Saturday morning when I woke up. I got out of the bed thirty minutes before six in the morning. I slid the glass door and went outside The warm sunlight made my day. After a while, I went to the kitchen to get some ice packs and grab a cup of coffee. I took a cup of coffee and back to the porch to witness the rising of the sun. I took a sip of my cappuccino and ponder on the masterpiece of nature. I was on vacation that time and it was really memorable. I enjoyed myself with the nature. It was an ideal getaway scheme from the madness of office works and from the deafening yells of my bosses. I enjoyed my summer vacation. Though I dont have any companion, I still had a great time with the beautiful summer picture. The week passed by so quick that I have to go back to work. I dont want to lose my job so I decided to get back to work. I took a last glimpse of my room and said goodbye to the resort crews. I pulled my luggage outside the resort lobby and took a cab back to the city. I went back to work that Monday morning. I did not expect to get a bunch of files to process on my desk. Apparently, it was a huge chunk of paper works. I went directly to my desk. Another surprise came to me. My cell phone bill caught my focus. As I took a glimpse of it, I almost fell from my chair.
